From an Order Entry Station
Step 1: Select the Wrench icon from the login screen
Step 2: Choose the Time Cards option
Step 3: Enter your access code (fingerprint or manager card option available)
Step 4: Confirm that the correct dates are displaying at the top (current payroll period by default).
- Selecting from will automatically input the previous payroll date range.
- Selecting to will advance back to the current payroll period.
- Use the calendar icons to change the from and to dates independently.
Step 5: Choose an employee & highlight the time card record that needs to be edited
Step 6: Make the necessary time card edits
In the example above, Billy has forgotten to clock back in from break. When he went to clock out at 4 p.m., he realized that he never clocked back in. To Fix Billy's blunder, use the time clock and calendar icons to add the correct Date Out, Time Out, and Break Off times.
Tap clock icon > Enter Time > Press OK
Your system will be configured for either military time or conventional time. Billy's Time Out would be either 16:00 or 04:00 P.M., depending on system configuration. Tap P.M. if you need to change conventional time to A.M and vice versa.
Tap Calendar icon > Highlight correct date > Press OK
Focus will warn you if you have 2 time records that overlap or if you have entered a time/date out that doesn't occur after the time/date in. You may need to cancel and click on a previous time record to identify the issue. You can always delete an entire record that was entered in error.
Step 7: Select Save & X to close or save and advance to a different time edit
Navigating to Time Cards from the Back of House
Step 1: Log in with your access code
Step 2: Select the Time Cards icon or path to Employees > Time Cards
